"The Light Inside" - Production Collaboration Launch - One Vision

The Light Inside

One Vision Productions is a non-profit organisation dedicated to music and film, with a focus on promoting youth wellness and Indigenous education. This year, Banora Point High School participated in the creation of "The Light Inside" production.

"This is an anthem of love, resilience, and overcoming hardship. These wise young souls from Banora Point High take a healing journey from the jagged edges high in the mountains, down through the waterways to the tempered and smooth sands of our beautiful beaches. They sing and harmonise together as one, discovering they can heal through sharing stories and songs, connecting to Country, opening up to one another, and receiving the support, encouragement, and ancient wisdom of Community. Just as pressure makes a diamond, these wonderful, heartfelt students shine equally bright as they celebrate the light inside that shines and brings them back to their truth and to the love they have in their own hearts. Take this healing journey with them as they lead the way to a brighter, kinder, more inclusive, and community-minded future.

Huge Kudos to Aunty Joan Sheriff, Sheridan Hargreaves, Jess Kamnerdkan and Saul Moses, who created such a supportive and encouraging space for this project to flow at Banora Point High School. Also to the One Vision facilitators and crew; Daniel Pearson aka Triple Nip, Mia Bloom, Mark Robertson, Coedie McCarthy aka The boy of many colours, Alex L’Estrange, Chris Liddell of The Music Film Studio and Andy Jans-Brown"
